Software
I have developed Mac OS software for over fifteen years. Although focusing on usability in recent years, I have covered two of my more recent projects here.
Bubble Trouble X
Requires: Mac OS 8.6 or later; Mac OS X
Bubble Trouble was written by me and Swoop Software's David Wareing and published by Ambrosia Software in the US. Originally released in 1996, with a high score competition in 1997, it was updated for Mac OS X in 2001.
Bubble Trouble X cheats
There are over 25 cheats in Bubble Trouble X, of which only about 6 or 7 are known about. Here are a few to keep you going. Please note that you cannot get a high score for a game you use cheats on that make the game easier!
Pause any game, and type any of the following five letter combinations:
- SCORE: Add 9,000 points to your score.
- LIVES: Get an extra life.
- INVIS: Get the 'invisibility' bonus immediately.
- CATCH: Catch all the enemies in bubbles instantly.
- FUNKY: Hear all the sounds in the game.
- ZOOOM: Play the game in super fast mode (type ZOOOM again to turn it off).
- GHOST: Turn all the graphics into weird ghost styles (OS X only; type GHOST again to turn it off).
- NONNY: Hear a lovely dog bark.
It's up to you to find the rest of the cheats!
Squeaky Toy Deluxe
Requires: Mac OS X 10.1 or later
Squeaky Toy Deluxe is one of those pieces of software that makes you feel glad to be alive. Open the application, and every time you click the mouse button it emits a lovable squeaky sound.
